HP Envy 6234
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just purchased a fully refurbished HP Envy 6234 Photo smart printer. I have been trying to establish a wifi connection and my PC finds the printer but then asks for a WPS PIN code. This PIN code is not displaying on the printer screen. The only message on the screen is "Cartridges appear to be missing." (There are no ink cartridges in the printer they are on order)

My question is this "Surely you can set the printer up when the cartridges aren't in there" I know that I could set up my previous printer without them being in there? Can anybody please help?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's reset the network setting on the Printer: To restore the printer to the original network settings 1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ). 2. Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions. 3. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Once done, try connecting it to the Wi-Fi again,
