Hi @Printme77B,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To resolve the issue of your HP Printer Pro 9010 not connecting to the internet and not printing in color, follow these steps:

Steps to Reconnect Your HP Printer Pro 9010 to the Internet

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Verify that your Wi-Fi network is working and that other devices can connect to it.

Re-establish Wi-Fi Connection:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup or Network settings.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.

Restart Printer and Router:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Turn off your Wi-Fi router and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug in and turn on the router.
  • Once the router is fully up and running, plug in and turn on your printer.

Check Network Settings:

  • Print a Network Configuration Page to check the printer’s network status.
    • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Network Configuration Page.
  • Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and has a valid IP address.

Steps to Enable Color Printing

Check Printer Settings:

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (Mac).
  • Right-click on your HP Printer Pro 9010 and select Printing Preferences.
  • Ensure that the color option is enabled and not set to grayscale or black and white.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP Printer Pro 9010.
  • Install the latest drivers and restart your computer if necessary.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that your color ink cartridges are not empty and are correctly installed.
  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Ink Levels to check the status of your ink cartridges.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page to ensure the color printing is working.
  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Print Quality Tools > Print Test Page

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
