HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a
Microsoft Windows 11

My Windows 11 PC suddenly won't print certain docs off websites.  Will print Amex statement but not Visa Statement.  Prints only the last page of a 6 page bank statement.   All  docs print just fine off my older Windows 10 notebook.

Hi @DianneCarol,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The issue you're experiencing with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer is likely related to how the browser or website generates the print jobs, and how your Windows 11 PC processes them. Here are some troubleshooting steps.

Use a Different Browser

  • If you're printing from a browser like Edge, try using an alternative like Chrome or Firefox.
  • Some websites have better compatibility with certain browsers.

Save as PDF and Print

  • Instead of printing directly from the website, save the document as a PDF first:
    1. On the print dialog, select Save as PDF or a similar option.
    2. Open the saved PDF in a viewer like Adobe Reader or Edge.
    3. Try printing from there.

Adjust Print Settings

  • When printing, check for the following:
    • Ensure "All pages" are selected, not just the last page.
    • Use "Print as Image" if available in the advanced settings of the print dialog. This can resolve issues with complex document rendering.
  • Check if the website offers a print-friendly version of the document.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Ensure your printer driver is up to date for Windows 11:
    1. Download the latest driver from HP's support site.
    2. Uninstall the current driver through Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
    3. Restart your PC and reinstall the updated driver.

Run the Printer Troubleshooter

  • Windows 11 includes a built-in troubleshooter for printers:
    1. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
    2. Find "Printer" and click Run.
    3. Follow the prompts to detect and fix issues.

Use Compatibility Settings

  • If the older Windows 10 notebook works fine, the website or document may have compatibility issues with your browser or OS.
  • Check if there's a setting in your browser to enable "Compatibility Mode."

Print from an Alternative Program

  • Copy and paste the content from the problematic website into a word processor (like Word or Notepad) and print from there.

Clear Cache and Cookies

  • Cached data might be interfering with print jobs:
    • In your browser, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
    • Clear Cache and Cookies.
    • Restart your browser and try printing again.

Check for Website Restrictions

  • Some websites might restrict printing. Look for options to "Download PDF" or "Export" on the Visa statement page.

Test with Another Printer

  • If you have access to another printer, try printing the problematic document to see if the issue is printer-specific.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
