@Eljefe2025, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wireless Setup for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It appears that the wireless connection option is not visible on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer control panel. Typically, this issue can be resolved by ensuring the wireless capabilities of the printer are enabled and properly configured. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and set up the wireless connection:
Steps to Enable Wireless Setup
Step 1: Ensure the Wireless Capabilities are Turned On
- Turn on the Printer: Make sure your printer is powered on.
- Check the Wireless Button: Ensure the wireless button on the printer control panel is turned on. Look for a blue light near the wireless button. If the light is off, press the wireless button to turn it on.
Step 2: Connect the Printer to a Wireless Network
Locate the Wireless Setup Wizard:
- From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch the Setup or Network Setup icon.
- If the Wireless Setup Wizard is not visible, verify if the Ethernet cable is connected to the printer. Disconnect the Ethernet cable and attempt to access the Wireless Setup Wizard again.
Using HP Smart App:
- Download and Install the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 computer from the Microsoft Store.
- Open the app, follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer, and during the setup, the app will prompt you to connect the printer to a wireless network.
Step 3: Update Printer Firmware
- Check for Updates:
- Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. You can do this by accessing the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) or using the HP Smart app.
- Embedded Web Server (EWS): Print a Network Configuration Page to obtain the printer’s IP address. Open a web browser and type the IP address in the address bar to access the EWS. Check for firmware updates under the Web Services or Settings tab.
Step 4: Reset Network Settings
- Reset the Printer Network Settings:
- From the Home screen on the printer control panel, navigate to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings. This will reset the network configuration and may restore the wireless setup options
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
