Hi @Jamesscan,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've set up a new router and can't see your HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One printer on your network, you'll need to reconnect it to the new network. Here are the steps to do so.

  1. Prepare for Setup:

    • Ensure your new router is set up and working correctly.
    • Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network to which you want to connect the printer.
  2. Turn on the Printer:

    • Press the power button on your HP ENVY 4500 printer to turn it on.
  3. Wireless Setup:

    • Press the "Wireless" button on the printer's control panel. This will initiate the wireless setup process.
  4. Connect Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):

    • If your router supports WPS, you can use it for a quick and easy setup. Press the WPS button on your router and then press the "WPS" button on your printer. They should connect automatically.
  5. Standard Wi-Fi Setup:

    • If your router doesn't support WPS or if you prefer manual setup, follow these steps: a. On the printer's control panel, press the "Wireless" button. b. The printer will search for available Wi-Fi networks. When it finds your new network, select it from the list. c. You will be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi network password. Use the printer's touchscreen to enter the password. d. Once the password is entered, press "Done" or "OK." e. If the password is correct, the printer should connect to the new network. You may see a confirmation message on the printer's screen.
  6. Test the Connection:

    • After the printer is successfully connected to the new network, print a test page to ensure it's working as expected.
  7. Update Printer Drivers:

    • If you encounter any issues printing from your computer, make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download and install them from the HP website.

By following these steps, your HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One printer should be successfully connected to your new router, and you should be able to print from your devices on the same network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
