My internet provider is Comcast, which now simultaneously provides 2.4 and 5 Ghz service.  In a previous post the solution was that the printer only operates on  2.4 Ghz network.  Six weeks ago a Geek Squad tech separated out the 2.4 and 5, and my printer found the correct channel and worked like a charm for 3 weeks.  Suddenly, it reverted back to the same problem, and they are unable to get it to work again.  Why did it work for a while?  Can nothing be done, short of buying a new printer, to solve the problem?  I love the printer.  It is a real workhorse.

@HoneyBee135, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

Yes, the printer only supports the 2.4GHz band. Were there any changes does to the router?

Check if the router is transmitting a 2.4 and 5GHz signal or just the 5GHz.

Use the WPS method to connect the printer - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
