Hi @esteban4910,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with your HP DeskJet 4155e continuously printing an alignment page. This issue can be caused by several factors, but here are some steps you can take to try to resolve it.
- Check Paper Alignment: Ensure that the paper tray is loaded correctly with the right size and type of paper. Sometimes, the printer may not detect the paper properly, leading it to continuously try to align.
- Perform Manual Alignment: If the printer allows for manual alignment through its control panel or software, try running a manual alignment process. This might help the printer to correctly calibrate and stop prompting for alignment every time it's turned on.
- Update Firmware and Drivers: Outdated firmware or drivers can sometimes cause strange behavior in printers. Check HP's official website for any available updates for your printer model and follow their instructions to update.
- Reset the Printer: Sometimes resetting the printer to its factory defaults can resolve persistent issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
- Clean the Printer: Dust or debris inside the printer, particularly around the paper path and cartridge area, can sometimes cause alignment issues. Use compressed air or a soft, dry cloth to clean these areas carefully.
- Check for Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue with the printer's sensors or mechanisms.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
