I have tried to connect to Web services in EWS. It hasn’t allowed me to, It says “The printer could not connect to Web Services. Web services might be busy or temporarily unavailable. Try again later”. The printer is fully connected to the wifi.

Hi @enrique001,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP DeskJet 4155e printer is having trouble connecting to Web Services despite being connected to WiFi, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Check Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your WiFi network is stable and providing internet access. You can test this by trying to browse the internet from another device connected to the same network.

Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can fix bugs related to connectivity. You can check for updates through the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.

Check Date and Time Settings:

  • Incorrect date and time settings on your printer can sometimes cause issues with connecting to Web Services. Make sure the date and time on your printer are set correctly.

HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. It can help identify connectivity issues and guide you through resolving them.

Reset Printing System:

  • Sometimes, resetting the printing system on your Windows 11 computer can help. To do this, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click on "Remove device". Then, add the printer again and check if the issue is resolved.

Check HP Services Status:

  • Occasionally, HP's Web Services may experience downtime or issues. You can check the status of HP's services online to see if there are any known issues affecting Web Services.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
