Hi @Denny49,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble connecting your HP ENVY 6055e printer to Wi-Fi, here are some general steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue.

Check Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer:

  • Make sure the printer is turned on.
  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the settings or wireless menu.
  • Check if Wi-Fi is enabled and if the printer is connected to the correct network.

Verify Wi-Fi Credentials:

  • Ensure that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
  • Double-check for any typos.

Restart Printer and Router:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Restart your wireless router by unplugging it, waiting for about 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
  • Wait for the router to fully restart, then plug in and turn on the printer.

Move the Printer Closer:

  • If the printer is too far away from the wireless router, it may have trouble connecting. Move the printer closer to the router and try again.

Check for Signal Interference:

  • Other electronic devices and appliances can interfere with the Wi-Fi signal. Move the printer away from such devices, especially if they are wireless.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. If so, download and install them.

Factory Reset:

  • As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on the printer. Keep in mind that this will reset all settings on the printer.
  • Refer to the printer's user manual or support documentation for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
