Product: HP ENVY 5534 e-All-in-One Printer

Hp Smart was showing a different IP address than what is on the printer. Trouble shooting failed, restarting router failed, restarting printer failed. Removed the printer and now I can't reinstall it. I use the IP address and it still doesn't find it. I don't know how else to get the printer back.

Your printer is waking up from sleep and being assigned a different IP address from the modem / router.  

 

Best option is to print directly to the printer and bypass the modem.

 

Wi-Fi Direct can be used to avoid configuring the router. Watch this: envy
Wi-Fi Direct is explained on page 57 of the User Manual, this Wi-Fi setup avoids configuring the router.

Thanks for the info.  Think I'm just going to get new printer. Been trying to fix this for 3 days now.
