@maples1, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble getting your HP DeskJet 4155e to connect to the internet and sync with your computer. Let's walk through the steps to get you back up and running.
Check Network Requirements
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz.
- Make sure your router is working and your computer is connected to the same network.
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
- On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds until the Power light blinks.
- This resets the network settings and prepares the printer for setup.
Use the HP Smart App for Setup
- Download the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device:
HP Smart - Open the app and sign in or create an HP account.
- Click “+” to add a new printer and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to Wi-Fi.
Enable Web Services (for Cloud Printing & Sync)
- In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Settings > Web Services.
- Turn on Web Services to enable cloud features like HP ePrint and Instant Ink.
Check for Firmware Updates
- In the HP Smart app, go to Advanced Settings > Printer Updates and install any available updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
