HP DeskJet 3752 All-in-One Printer

I am not able to print with m y all in one printer. i canceled my instant ink s ubscription and have not been able to print since.  web services light continues to blink.  I have powered printer off, unplugged the device and plugged/ powered back on. no changes.  message says it is offline; i cannot get it back online.  to be honest I am not sure if this is a wireless or network connection! I have no cable for a router that I see ( not tech savvy).  I removed the device from my settings and added the printer back and it said driver unavailable, then I ran diagnostics which said everything was up to date. I have made sure the printer is set as default, there are docs in queue that say they're printing but they are not.  frustrated and feel stupid!

Hi @TN31457,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

No need to feel frustrated—you’ve done a lot of great troubleshooting steps already! Let's break this down and go through some steps to get your HP DeskJet 3700 Series back online.

Here are a few things we can try:

Check Printer's Wireless Connection:

  • First, check if the printer is connected to Wi-Fi. Since the "Web Services" light is blinking, it may not be properly connected to the network.
  • On the printer's control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for a few seconds until the Wi-Fi light starts blinking (this indicates the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode).
  • Now, try reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi network by following the steps from the printer’s display.

Reconfigure Printer’s Wireless Settings:

  • If you’re unsure whether it's a wireless or network connection issue, this is a good time to reconfigure the connection.
  • Open the HP Smart app (if installed), or use Windows Settings to reinstall the printer on your network. You can also go through the printer's control panel and run a network setup directly on the printer.

Check Printer Status and Queue:

  • Open Devices and Printers on your computer (if you’re using Windows) and right-click the HP DeskJet 3700 printer.
  • Make sure it’s set as the default printer and check if there are any stuck print jobs in the queue. Clear any queued documents if there are any and try printing again.

Run the HP Printer Troubleshooter:

  • If the printer driver is showing as "unavailable," run the built-in Windows Printer Troubleshooter:
    • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
    • Select your printer and click Manage > Run the troubleshooter.

Reinstall the Printer Driver:

  • If the diagnostic says the driver is up-to-date, but you're still getting the "driver unavailable" error, we can try reinstalling the driver:
    • Go to the HP website and download the latest driver for your DeskJet 3700 series.
    • Uninstall the current printer driver from your computer (you can do this in Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program).
    • After that, reinstall the downloaded driver.

Reset Printer’s Network Settings:

  • If all else fails, you can reset your printer's network settings:
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer for about 10-15 seconds until the light flashes.
    • This will reset the printer’s wireless connection, and you can try setting it up from scratch again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
