I have set up my new printer using a USB connection.  However I keep getting a e-mail from HP Inks saying Printer not connected to internet. WHY???   Printer is set up & working ok but I don't know how to set it up for my HP Inks

offer of 3 months inks free etc.  I'm not a computer Whizz Kid, I am a 80 year old disabled pensioner, 

This printer was a B/Day present from one of my sons. I have registered it on HP site but still getting the not connected  page keep coming up for my future Inks.  Help please in easy Jargon.  Thank You.
