Hi @biggiebrett,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To troubleshoot your HP Envy All-in-One printer's Wi-Fi connection issues with your T-Mobile router, follow these steps.

Restart Your Devices

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Router: Restart your T-Mobile router by unplugging it, waiting for 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.

Check Wi-Fi Settings

  • SSID: Ensure you are trying to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network (SSID).
  • Password: Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password. Make sure it’s case-sensitive.

Connect via HP Smart App

  • If you have the HP Smart app installed on your smartphone or computer, use it to connect your printer to Wi-Fi:
    • Open the app and select your printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to Wi-Fi.

Use WPS (if supported)

  • If your router and printer support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), you can try connecting via this method:
    • Press the WPS button on your router.
    • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your printer (usually located on the control panel).

Network Reset on Printer

  • Perform a network reset on your printer:
    • Go to the printer's control panel, navigate to Settings > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
    • After the reset, attempt to reconnect to Wi-Fi.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up-to-date:
    • Check for firmware updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.

Check Router Settings

  • Ensure that MAC filtering is not enabled on your router, as this could prevent the printer from connecting.
  • Ensure that your router's firmware is updated.

Try Different Frequencies

  • If your router has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, try connecting the printer to the 2.4 GHz network, as many printers have compatibility issues with the 5 GHz band.

Factory Reset Printer (Last Resort)

  • If all else fails, consider performing a factory reset on your printer. Note that this will erase all settings, and you’ll need to set it up again from scratch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
