Hi,
Just bought a new Deskjet 3760 form a main supermarket yesterday.
When I try to put it's s/n into the HP website it doesn't recognise the s/n.
When I try to get into the Admin screens via the HP Smart app installed on my Windows 10 laptop it says the admin password has been set to a custom value. I've only just bought this printer and it was clearly newly wrapped and never used. I've tried the obvious "admin" pwd but no joy. Any other suggestions?
I have 2 Android phones, one running Android 11 connected fine using WiFi Direct but the other phone running Android 8 wont connect. It says it's connected in the WiFi Direct screen but not in the HP Smart app. Any suggestions?
So far I'm very disappointed with this printer and will give very negative feedback unless these issues are resolved, hopefully with your help.

I'd like to help!
I understand that the printer is ladminstrator locked
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
