Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Google Fiber 2g router is suddenly assigning duplicate IP addresses to my HP Laserjet pro.  I set up a static address for the printer and my phone finds it just fine.  However my laptops and desktop don't find the printer.  I limited the top of the addresses to .242 so that I could use an address higher than that as a static ip for the printer. That did get my printer available to my iphone but not to my desktop and laptops.

Any clues?

@benraviv

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
  • Could you please share the picture of the duplicate IP addresses screen?
  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Keep me posted for further assistance.
