Hi @DaVime,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Verify Network Password:
- Ensure the password you are entering is correct. Network passwords are case-sensitive, so double-check for any capitalization or special characters.
Restart Network Devices:
- Turn off your router and modem, wait for 60 seconds, then turn them back on.
- Restart your printer and computer.
Printer Location:
- Ensure the printer is within range of the wireless network and there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices interfering with the signal.
Check Network Settings:
- Ensure your router is set to a compatible mode (e.g., 2.4 GHz). Some printers may have trouble connecting to 5 GHz networks.
- Make sure the router’s firmware is up to date.
Reconnect the Printer:
- Go to the printer’s control panel and access the wireless setup menu.
- Select your network name and carefully enter the correct password.
Update Printer Firmware:
Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.
Advanced Network Configuration:
- Access your router's settings and make sure DHCP is enabled so your printer can obtain an IP address automatically.
- Try setting a static IP address for your printer from the router's DHCP settings.
Reset Network Settings on Printer:
- On the printer, navigate to the wireless settings menu and select the option to reset network settings to default.
- Retry the connection process after resetting.
I hope this helps.
