Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Every time I go to print the printer goes thru a MAINTENANCE procedure.  THis takes several minutes.  I found 31 other users that complained about this but the only response I could find was the HP person said to clean the print cartridges.  He repeated the issue at the beginning and clearly didn't read the problem correctly because it was not giving a print error.   The issue is IT GOES THRU MAINTENANCE PROCESS EVERY TIME YOU GO TO PRINT.  WHY?????   I found another answer (I think - not sure because it was hard to trace thru the responses) but they said to not turn the printer off.  I RARELY ever turn my printer off so that is not a problem for me.  Can someone please explain WHY it has to do MAINTENANCE EVERY time it prints????  Ridiculous.   How can I make this NOT HAPPEN?????
