Hi @Ty65,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To perform a factory reset on your HP Envy 6010 printer, you can follow these steps.

  1. Turn on the printer and wait for it to become idle.
  2. Locate the Power button on the printer and press it to turn off the printer.
  3. Once the printer is powered off, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait for about 10 seconds to allow the printer to fully power down.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  6. Press and hold the Power button on the printer's control panel.
  7. While holding down the Power button, reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
  8. Continue to hold down the Power button for at least 15 seconds. The printer should power on.
  9. After 15 seconds, release the Power button. The printer will initiate the factory reset process, and the indicator lights may flash or the printer may make some noises.
  10. Wait for the printer to complete the factory reset. This may take a few minutes.
  11. Once the reset process is finished, the printer will return to its original factory settings.

Please note that performing a factory reset will erase any custom settings or configurations you have made on the printer. It's always a good idea to back up any important settings or data before proceeding with the factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
