Hi @Kaz681,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've forgotten the printer admin password for your HP Officejet Pro 9010 series printer, you may need to perform a factory reset to regain access. Keep in mind that a factory reset will also erase any custom settings you've configured on the printer. Here's how you can perform a factory reset:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect any USB cables or Ethernet cables connected to the printer.
  3. Remove any paper from the input and output trays.
  4. While the printer is turned off, press and hold the Wireless and Resume buttons simultaneously. Keep holding the buttons.
  5. While holding the buttons, press the Power button once. Continue holding the Wireless and Resume buttons until the printer's power light starts blinking.
  6. Once the power light starts blinking, release the Wireless and Resume buttons. The printer will enter Recovery Mode.

At this point, the printer's configuration settings will be reset to their default values, including the admin password. You'll need to set up the printer again as if it were a new device. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure the printer's language, region, and other initial settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
