2. Reconnect Printer to New Wi-Fi Network

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store or from the HP website if you don't already have it.
  • Open the HP Smart app and click on “Set up a new printer” or “Add Printer.”
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.

Use Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Print a configuration page from the printer to get its IP address:
    • Press the Wireless button and the Information button together.
  • Open a web browser on your computer and enter the printer's IP address in the address bar to access the EWS.
  • Go to the "Networking" tab and connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network by entering the network name (SSID) and password.

3. Update Printer Software/Drivers

  1. Download Latest Drivers:
    • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
    • Install the drivers on your computer, following the on-screen instructions.
