help me pls, im trying to vonnect my laptop amd cellphone to my hp envy 4500 but it doesnt work , my printer wifi are same to my laptop or cp and the bluetooth are open but still i cannot find my printer to my bluetooth

It looks like you're trying to connect your HP ENVY 4500 printer to your laptop and phone, but it's not being detected. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps:

 

1. Check Printer Connection Method

The HP ENVY 4500 does not support Bluetooth printing—it connects via Wi-Fi or USB.

 

2. Verify Printer and Device Connectivity

  • Ensure your printer and laptop/phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Restart your printer, laptop, and phone.
  • If your printer has a touchscreen, go to Setup → Network Settings → Wireless Setup Wizard and reconnect to Wi-Fi.

3. Check Printer Status on Laptop

  • On Windows:
    • Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers
    • Click Add a Printer and check if your HP ENVY 4500 appears.
  • On Mac:
    • Go to System Preferences → Printers & Scanners
    • Click + (Add Printer) and check if it shows up.

4. Try HP Smart App (for Laptop & Phone)

Download the HP Smart app: Click here

 

5. Enable Wi-Fi Direct (For Direct Printing)

If your Wi-Fi isn't working:

  • Press the Wi-Fi Direct button on the printer (or check the control panel for Wi-Fi Direct settings).
  • Connect your phone/laptop to the printer’s Wi-Fi (it will look like HP-Setup-ENVY-4500).
  • Try printing directly from HP Smart App or by adding the printer manually.

6. Check Printer Driver (For Laptop)

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest HP ENVY 4500 drivers.
  • Install and restart your computer.
