I'm trying to set up wireless printing on my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and get the message that I need to add the Mac address of my printer to the list of permitted devices for my wireless router before I can connect continue. I have my Mac address but do not know how to add it to the list of permtted devices.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then select Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.
Once done, connect the printer to the Wi-Fi: .On the printer control panel, touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network. Touch Wireless, touch Wireless Setup Wizard, and then touch OK. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!
Have a great day!
