Hi @blondieforsure,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Gather Necessary Information

Make sure you have the following information ready:

  • New Network Name (SSID): Spectrumsetup28
  • New Network Password: silverhouse142

Reset Network Settings on the Printer

  1. Turn on the Printer:
    • Make sure your printer is powered on.
  2. Reset Network Settings:
    • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer until the Power button starts blinking. This will restore the printer's network settings to default.

Connect the Printer to the New Network Using HP Smart App

To connect your printer to the new network, you will need to use the HP Smart app.

Download and Install HP Smart:

Open HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer.

Connect to Your Printer:

  • If your printer is not already added, click on Add Printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your HP DeskJet 2700 All-in-One printer.

Set Up a New Network Connection:

  • Click on Printer Setup or Network Setup.
  • Select Restore Network Settings if you haven't done the reset yet.
  • After restoring, the HP Smart app will search for available networks.

Enter the New Network Details:

  • When prompted, select Spectrumsetup28 from the list of available networks.
  • Enter the password silverhouse142 when asked.

Follow On-Screen Instructions:

  • Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete the network setup.

Verify the Connection

  1. Print a Network Configuration Page:
    • On the printer control panel, press the Information button (i) and hold it until the printer prints a network configuration page.
    • Verify that your printer is connected to the Spectrumsetup28 network.

I hope this helps.
