how to connect hp envy 4502 printer to wireless router via my laptop and NOT the printer screen. My computer's wifi connection has a 50+ character password. can i input the password for the printer to connect to the same network via my laptop??

That is very easy.

 

First, go to your printer and go to

-setup

-network setup

-restore network defaults.

 

Next, on your COMPUTER, download HP SMART App. it is available on Microsoft Store.

Open HP Smart APP

click on continue or next or okay until you get to the point that says 'Setup a new printer' or 'Add a new printer'

 

you will see your printer, on setup mode, click on it, and your PC will automatically connect it to your wifi.
