Hi @raejazh982,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer is not connecting wirelessly to a Windows 11 PC, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Ensure Printer is Connected to the Network
- Check Printer's Wi-Fi: Ensure that your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can print a configuration page to verify this:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the "Cancel" button (with the red 'X') and turn on the printer.
- Continue holding the "Cancel" button until the printer starts printing a configuration page.
- Check the "Wireless" section to ensure it is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
2. Check Wi-Fi Network
- Same Network: Ensure that your Windows 11 PC and the printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Network Stability: Verify that your Wi-Fi network is stable and has a strong signal.
3. Install/Update Drivers
- Download Drivers: Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer.
- Install Drivers: Run the downloaded driver file and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
4. Reinstall Printer
- Remove Printer: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Find your printer, click on it, and select Remove device.
- Add Printer: Click on Add a printer or scanner and follow the instructions to add your printer again.
5. Check Printer Settings
- HP Smart App: Download and use the HP Smart App from the Microsoft Store. This app can help in diagnosing and setting up the printer.
- Printer Settings: Ensure that the wireless settings on the printer are configured correctly.
6. Firewall/Antivirus Settings
- Allow HP Software: Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the printer software. You might need to add exceptions for HP printer programs.
7. Reset Network Settings on Printer
- Reset Network: Sometimes, resetting the network settings on your printer can help:
- Turn the printer off.
- Press and hold the "Wireless" button and the "Cancel" button simultaneously.
- Turn the printer back on while holding these buttons for about 10-15 seconds until the attention light blinks.
8. Manual IP Address
- Assign Static IP: Assign a static IP address to your printer through your router settings to avoid IP conflicts.
- Connect Manually: Manually add the printer to your Windows 11 PC using its IP address:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on Add a printer or scanner, then The printer that I want isn't listed.
- Select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname, enter the IP address, and follow the prompts.
9. Update Windows
- Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows 11 PC is up-to-date by going to Settings > Windows Update and checking for updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
