Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

If your HP DeskJet 4100 series printer is showing as offline on Windows 11, here are some steps to help you get back up and printing:

Restart Devices

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Restart your computer and your Wi-Fi router.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check Network Connection

  • Ensure your printer and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • On the printer, the Wireless light should be solid blue (not blinking).

Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

  • Download or open the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
  • In the app, click the wrench icon (bottom left) and select Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to automatically detect and resolve issues.

Check Printer Settings in Windows

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your printer > Open queue.
  • In the queue window, click Printer in the top menu and ensure "Use Printer Offline" is unchecked.
