Hi @vishal2075 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Envy 4502 printer is having trouble connecting to the proxy server for setting up Instant Ink subscription, there could be a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check Network Connection: Ensure that both your printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, connectivity issues arise due to being connected to different networks.
- Restart Devices: Try restarting both your printer and computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
- Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP support website. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Proxy Settings: Check the proxy settings on your computer and ensure they are configured correctly. If you're using a proxy server, make sure the printer's network settings reflect those of your computer.
- Firewall/Antivirus: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can interfere with the printer's connectivity. Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer and try setting up the printer again.
- Reset Printer Network Settings: You can try resetting the network settings on your printer and then reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi network. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to reset network settings.
