macOS 12.0 Monterey

printer says it is connected to wifi. when I went to print yesterday, it said that printer was offline. I deleted the printer from my list. trying to reinstall my printer. Hp smart app can't find my printer. I have done all of the virtual assistant steps to no avail. now what?

I see that your HP ENVY 4520 All-In-One Printer is not detected by HP Smart App.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to install the firmware update from HP smart App.
1. Go to 123.hp.com to install the app on your mobile device (if not installed).
2. After completing the printer setup, click or tap your printer name.
NOTE: Menu names, locations, and available settings vary by printer model.
3. Under Advanced, select Printer Home Page (EWS) or Advanced Settings.
4. Click or tap Tools or Web Services.
5. Click or tap Printer Updates or Product Update, and then click or tap Check Now.
