HP Officejet pro 9013 wifi got disabled. Wifi direct works, but I cannot access wifi setup menu and cannot scan wireless networks. Blue Wifi light does not show up, either. Network configuration page says "You cannot use the device's wireless function because it has been disabled." I did the usual troubleshooting stuff incl. router reset and printer reset. I also accessed the support menu on the printer (4x back button) and did a "Semi-Full Reset" (there was no "full reset" option). Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi @muratdemiroglu,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've tried a lot of the common troubleshooting steps already. Here are a few additional things you might try to resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9013.
Check Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve connectivity issues. You can check for updates using the HP Smart app or through the printer’s web interface.
Restore Network Defaults:
- Navigate to the printer's control panel.
- Go to Setup or Network Setup.
- Look for an option to restore network defaults or similar. This will reset all network settings and might help in re-enabling the Wi-Fi functionality.
Printer's Wireless Settings:
- Access the printer's embedded web server (EWS) if you can connect to it via Wi-Fi Direct.
- Type the IP address displayed on the printer’s network configuration page into a web browser.
- Navigate to the wireless settings and try to enable the Wi-Fi from there.
Check for Physical Switches: Some printers have a physical switch or button to enable or disable Wi-Fi. Double-check that there's no switch that might have been accidentally turned off.
Power Cycle:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes, a power cycle can help in reinitializing network components.
Check Router Settings: Make sure there are no settings on your router that might be blocking the printer, such as MAC address filtering or other security settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
