Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Looks like HP Smart is not smart. It says printer is ready and then print fails.  I can print to that printer from my cell phone so the printer is working fine. HP Smart will print multiple status reports with no problem. yet trying to print anything else results in printer is in "error state". then review of print queue :this printer couldn't print "filename". try to use HP Smart to connect to wireless and it times out. I have hundreds of pages to use and the printer does not want to work through HP Smart or Office. I don't want to put all those pages on the cloud and then print from my phone. this must be an HP glitch.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

I got an email from someone using an HP name Jeff Christopher , Executive Escalations and just like you said they wanted the S/N but also wanted a lot of personal information. when I click in the message I got a red alert from Norton. I dont know if you are the scammer or if Christopher is the scammer but something is definitely wrong. I did spend hours trying to find out why HP Smart was not making sense and was inconsistent. I know how to get around this problem. I would like to help others but don't know who to trust.
