To connect your HP DeskJet 2820e All-in-One Printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps.

Using the Printer's Control Panel:

Turn on the Printer: Ensure your printer is powered on and ready.

Access the Wireless Menu:

• On the printer’s control panel, locate and press the Wireless button. If there's no dedicated button, navigate to the Setup or Network menu using the arrow keys or touchscreen.

Select Wireless Setup Wizard:

• Choose Wireless Setup Wizard from the menu. The printer will search for available networks.

Choose Your Network:

• Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.

Enter the Wi-Fi Password:

• Input your network’s password using the on-screen keyboard. If your printer has a numeric keypad, you might need to enter the password using this keypad.

Confirm and Connect:

• After entering the password, confirm the settings. The printer will attempt to connect to the network.

Print a Network Configuration Page (Optional):

• You can print a network configuration page to verify the connection by going to the Wireless menu and selecting Print Network Configuration Page.

Using HP Smart App (if available):

Open HP Smart App:

• On your computer or mobile device, open the HP Smart app. If you don’t have it installed, download it from the HP website or your app store.

Add Printer:

• Click on the + sign or Add Printer. The app will search for printers.

Select Printer:

• Choose your HP DeskJet 2820e from the list of available printers.

Follow On-Screen Instructions:

• The app will guide you through connecting the printer to your new Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your network password during this process.
