Hi @teedubs ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble connecting your HP DeskJet 3630 printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Restart Everything:

  • Turn off your printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Turn on the router and wait for it to fully restart.
  • Turn on the printer and wait for it to initialize.
  • Try connecting again.

Check Wi-Fi Signal:

  • Ensure that your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network.
  • Make sure there are no obstacles that might weaken the signal between the printer and the router.

Printer Wi-Fi Light:

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi light on the printer is blinking, indicating that it is in the setup mode.

Reset Network Settings on the Printer:

  • On the printer control panel, touch the wireless icon.
  • Touch the gear icon to access the Setup menu.
  • Scroll down and select "Restore Network Settings" or a similar option.
  • Confirm the action and wait for the printer to restart.

Run Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • On the printer control panel, touch the wireless icon.
  • Touch the gear icon to access the Setup menu.
  • Select "Wireless Setup Wizard" and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your new Wi-Fi network.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your mobile device.
  • Open the app and click on the "+" sign to add a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Printer Firmware Update:

  • Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware. You can check for firmware updates on the HP support website and follow the instructions to update the firmware.

Check Router Settings:

  • Make sure that your router settings allow the printer to connect. Ensure that MAC address filtering is not blocking the printer.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • If you've recently changed your Wi-Fi network, you may need to reinstall the printer drivers on your computer. Download the latest drivers from the HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
