Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: iOS

Have hp 8715 office printer setup as local WiFi (2.4 GHz) shared printer. Using ann  Infinity internet router & Infinity internet service.

prints OK from my Apple iPad.

However, from the Apple iPhone 14 I can access same 8715 printer from HP Smart App and print summary printer reports - but, no other iPhone apps ie. Safari, Share icon, Mail - can access the hp 8715 printer. When go to print - it seems to see the printer, but does not allow to select it to print on the iPhone in printer select dialogue.

 

any ideas ?   
I tried power down- power up hp printer.

I tried power off - power on iPhone 14, too.

no luck !

I'd like to help!

 

Update the drivers for the printer if you are trying to use IOS 14, if the drivers are not available then this printer may not be compatible. Click here
