Hi @DRJHM,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer's connectivity!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
As your iPhone 14 (iOS 18.3) is not connecting to your HP Officejet 8030 All-in-One Printer, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check Printer & iPhone Connection
- Ensure Both Devices Are on the Same Wi-Fi Network
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your iPhone and verify the Wi-Fi name.
- Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer to check its Wi-Fi connection.
- If the printer is not connected, use the HP Smart App to reconnect it.
Restart Everything
- Restart Your iPhone, Printer, and Router
- Turn off and on all devices.
- Wait 1-2 minutes before reconnecting to Wi-Fi.
Update Printer Firmware
- Check for Updates via HP Smart App
- Open HP Smart on your iPhone.
- Tap Printer Settings > Advanced Settings and check for updates.
- Alternatively, check HP Support for the latest firmware.
Reset Network Settings on iPhone
- Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi and try printing again.
Try AirPrint
- Open any document or photo on your iPhone.
- Tap Share > Print > Select Printer > HP OfficeJet 8030.
- If the printer does not appear, try adding it manually:
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and look for a network named HP-Setup-8030.
- Connect to it and retry AirPrint.
Use HP Smart App
- Download HP Smart from the App Store.
- Add your printer by following the on-screen steps.
- Try printing from the HP Smart app.
If the issue persists, reset the printer’s network settings:
- On the Printer, go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
- Reconnect it to Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app.
