Hi @niwan ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw printer is having trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi network, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Ensure that your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network. Weak signals can cause connection issues. If possible, move the printer closer to the Wi-Fi router.

Restart Printer and Router: Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. Also, restart your Wi-Fi router. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity problems.

Verify Wi-Fi Settings on Printer: Check the Wi-Fi settings on your printer. Ensure that the Wi-Fi is enabled, and the printer is set to the correct network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password if it's a secured network.

Update Firmware: Make sure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model. Follow the instructions provided to update the firmware.

Reset Network Settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the network settings on your printer. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup): If your router supports WPS, you can use this feature to simplify the connection process. Press the WPS button on your router and then press the WPS button on your printer within a specific time frame.

Check for Interference: Nearby electronic devices and appliances, as well as other Wi-Fi networks, can interfere with your printer's signal. Move the printer away from potential sources of interference.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: On your computer, uninstall the printer drivers and software, and then reinstall them. Ensure that you download the latest drivers from the official HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
