Let's troubleshoot the issue with your HP 8028e printer not printing from your HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-Eg0000. Here are some steps to diagnose and resolve the problem:
 

1. Check Printer Connection

Ensure your printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop. Since it is connected to your cellphone via Bluetooth, verify that the Wi-Fi connection on the printer is active and stable.

2. Verify Network Connection

  • Laptop: Ensure your HP Pavilion laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
  • Printer: Check the printer’s network status from the printer control panel to ensure it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

3. Install/Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP 8028e printer.
  • Install or reinstall these drivers on your HP Pavilion laptop.

4. Set as Default Printer

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP 8028e printer and select Set as default printer.

5. Clear Print Queue

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP 8028e printer and select See what's printing.
  • In the new window, click on Printer and then Cancel All Documents.

6. Restart Printer Spooler Service

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

7. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings

8. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

9. Update Windows

Ensure your Windows operating system is up-to-date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

10. Test Printing

  • Try printing a test page from your laptop. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on your HP 8028e printer, and select Printer Properties. Click Print Test Page.

11. Mobile Printing

If you are trying to print from your cellphone, ensure you have the necessary printing app installed (e.g., HP Smart App). Make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

12. Factory Reset Printer (If Necessary)
