Hi @Katie288,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When your HP Envy Photo 7155 printer is stuck on the blue line with a single blue dot and the HP logo during startup, this usually indicates a firmware or software issue that's preventing the printer from completing its boot process. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the printer to the power source and turn it on.

Check Connection Cables:

  • Ensure that all cables connected to the printer are secure and undamaged. This includes the power cable and any USB or Ethernet cables.

Update Firmware:

  • If the printer eventually progresses past the stuck screen, check if there's a firmware update available. You can do this from the HP website or through the HP Smart app.
  • If the printer interface isn’t accessible, try updating the firmware using a computer connected to the printer.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 2-3 minutes.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
