Since your internet has switched to BT's new digital system with a new Wi-Fi password, your printer needs to be reconnected to the new network. Try these steps:
Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi
On the Printer:
- Go to Settings (⚙️) > Network/Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard (on the printer’s display panel).
- Select your new BT Wi-Fi network and enter the new password.
- Confirm and try printing.
If No Display Panel:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on your printer until it starts blinking.
- On your router, press the WPS button (if available) for a few seconds to allow the printer to connect automatically.
Update Wi-Fi Settings via HP Smart App
- Install HP Smart App on your phone/computer.
- Select Set up a new printer or go to Advanced Settings and update the Wi-Fi details.
Restart Everything
- Restart your printer, router, and computer after connecting.
