Dear community,
I hope you can help me.
Today I have bought a HP Desk Jet 4100e Wire Less Printer, and tried to setup it with my iPhone 12 and my windows7 PC and connect it to my WLAN network. But it didnot work. I have read the manual from HP support and Youtube. The steps which I have followed as follows:
- connect my printer to electricity
- push the WLAN button on the printer
- the WLAN symbol blinks
- start HP smart on my iPhone to set up new WLAN Printer
- HP smart APP reminded me to connect WLAN network DirectCT-27-HP DeskJetPlus 4100
- I typed it and entered
- The Wireless connection of DirectCT-27-HP DeskJetPlus 4100 from iPhone 12 to the pinter has been set up and works
- I see this printer has been added into HP smart app, but this WLAN DirectCT-27-HP DeskJetPlus 4100 cann not be connected to internet,
- if I switch the WLAN to my home WLAN e.g. Vodafone-C246 which connects internet, then the Printer lost the connection to my iPhone and it is not available.
- I cannot print anything
It is quite strange, i can use HP-WLAN-network DirectCT-27-HP DeskJetPlus to connect Printer from my iPhone but it HP-WLAN-network doesn't have internet, if I change to my own home WLAN network Vodafone-C246, then the printer get lost, is not available, that means my printer cannot be connected to my home WLAN network only to HP-WLAN-network without internet.
Why did it happen? and how can I fix it?
Thanks and best regards
Feilong
