HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

hello,

My printer has been showing "maintenance in progress" - and it's telling me "Do not interrupt" for quite some time now.

How long does it take for it to complete the maintenance and is it ok to turn off the printer? to do a printing job?

Hi @2TBZ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 is showing "maintenance in progress," it indicates that the printer is currently undergoing a maintenance routine, such as cleaning printheads or calibrating.

The duration of this process can vary depending on the specific maintenance task being performed and the condition of the printer.

It's generally advisable to allow the printer to complete its maintenance cycle before turning it off or attempting to print. Interrupting the maintenance process could potentially cause issues with print quality or other functionality.

If you need to do a printing job urgently, it's best to wait for the maintenance to complete.

If the maintenance process seems to be taking an unusually long time or if you encounter any errors, you may want to contact HP phone support for assistance.

Hope this helps!
