@seba18, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Offline Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Dealing with a printer showing as offline can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to resolve this issue. Here are some troubleshooting methods you can try:

Check the Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that all cables are securely connected if you are using a wired printer.
  • If the printer is wireless, confirm that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

Set the Printer as Default:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select Set as default printer.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off and then restart both your printer and laptop. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Open Devices and Printers, select your printer, and clear any pending print jobs that might be causing a backlog.

Update Drivers:

  • Ensure your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website or use HP Support Assistant to check and install updates.

Check Printer Status:

  • On your printer's display panel or settings, make sure it is not Set to Offline.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
