Hi @lukha,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the HP LaserJet Pro M1218nfs MFP series, you can find the PPD file for Linux systems through the HP Linux Imaging and Printing (HPLIP) project. Here’s how you can obtain it:

Download the PPD File Directly:

  • Visit the HPLIP website.
  • Search for the PPD file for the HP LaserJet Pro M1218nfs MFP.
  • The PPD file might be included in the HPLIP package you can download from this site.

Install HPLIP Package:

  • For many Linux distributions, including LinuxLite, you can install HPLIP via your package manager which will include the PPD files.
  • Open a terminal and run:   sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install hplip

Manual Download:

  • If you prefer to download the PPD file manually, check repositories or forums related to HP printers on Linux, as they sometimes host specific PPD files.

Refer to this document:  HP HotSpot LaserJet Pro M1218nfs MFP series - HP Support User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
