Hi @0348,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are to reconnect your HP ENVY 5052 All-in-One Printer to your wireless network after installing a new modem, follow these steps:
Turn On the Printer:
- Ensure the printer is plugged into a power source.
- Press the power button on the printer to turn it on. The power button is usually located on the front panel of the printer.
Connect to Wireless Network:
- On the printer's control panel, tap the Wireless icon or button. It might look like a signal strength icon or a series of radio waves.
- Select Settings or Setup from the menu.
- Choose Wireless Setup Wizard or Wireless Settings.
- The printer will search for available networks. When the list appears, select your new network (SSID) from the list.
- Enter the new network password (WiFi key) when prompted. Make sure you enter it exactly as it is (case-sensitive).
Confirm Connection:
- The printer should connect to the wireless network. You can print a network configuration page from the printer’s control panel to verify the connection status.
- If there are issues, ensure your new modem is properly configured and connected to the internet, and try restarting the printer and modem.
Update Printer Settings on Your Computer:
- On your computer, open the HP Smart app or Printers & Scanners settings.
- Remove the old printer connection if it exists, and then add the printer again by selecting Add Printer or Add Device. Your computer should detect the printer on the network.
