I just got a new router and now my 2700 series will not connect to wifi. I have followed all the directions and get to a point on my iPhone in the hp app that it wants me to enter a password for "Direct-64-HP DeskJet 2700 series". I don't have it. I have entered my wifi password and the password for the router app. Can anyone tell me where the password would be?
Thanks
I have tried the PIN on the side of the printer
And I cannot get the printer to print it by holding down the "I" buttons

@tkroenlein, Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Community! 🎉
I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:
It looks like you're trying to connect to the printer's Wi-Fi Direct instead of your actual Wi-Fi network. The "Direct-64-HP DeskJet 2700 series" is the printer’s Wi-Fi Direct connection, which allows direct printing without a router. This requires a separate password, which is different from your Wi-Fi network password.
To properly connect your printer to your new router, follow these steps:
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings:
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for 5 seconds until the light blinks.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi Using HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart App on your iPhone.
- Tap Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your Wi-Fi network password (not the Wi-Fi Direct password).
Find the Wi-Fi Direct Password (if needed):
- Print a Wi-Fi Direct information page by pressing and holding the "i" button until a page prints.
- The Wi-Fi Direct password will be listed on this page.

I’m pretty confident this will do the trick! But hey, if you run into any bumps along the way or need a little extra help, just give me a shout! I’ve got your back. 💪

When I follow the steps outlined, HP Smart doesn't find my printer. I just got a new router and i'm connected to the internet. However, no matter what I do, I cannot connect to the printer. I've followed all of the troubleshooting steps and used the virtual assistant, to no avail. Is there a phone number I can call for help?
Thanks.
