Welcome to HP Support Community, @bh343

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

1.Confirm Printer Capabilities

The HP LaserJet P1102w does NOT support Bluetooth.

It supports Wi-Fi using:

WPS Push Button, or

Wireless Setup Mode (via HP Smart)

If you were trying Bluetooth, stop — it won’t work.

2. Check If Your Router Has WPS

Look for a button labeled WPS, two rotating arrows, or a lock symbol.

IF YES → Go to Step 3
IF NO → Skip to Step 5

3. Reconnect Using WPS (No Cable Needed)

Turn ON the printer.

Press and hold the Wireless (Wi-Fi) button on the printer until the light starts blinking.

Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.

Wait ~1 minute.

SUCCESS RESULT: Wi-Fi light becomes solid (not blinking).

If the Wi-Fi light keeps blinking → go to Step 4.

4. Reset Printer Network Settings (If WPS Fails)

Turn the printer OFF.

Press & hold Cancel + Wireless buttons.

Turn the printer ON while holding the buttons for 5 seconds.

Release after the lights blink → network reset done.

Now repeat Step 3 (WPS).

If WPS still fails → go to Step 5.

5.Connect Through HP Smart App (Wireless Setup Mode)

Use this ONLY if your router has no WPS or WPS keeps failing.

Steps:

Reset the printer network (Step 4).

Open HP Smart on your phone / Windows / Mac.

Tap Add Printer.

Select HP LaserJet P1102w showing as “Setup” or “Wi-Fi Direct”.

Enter your new Wi-Fi name + password.

Wait for confirmation message.

SUCCESS RESULT: Printer appears as “Connected”.

If the printer does NOT appear in HP Smart → go to Step 6.

6.Check If Printer Is Broadcasting Wi-Fi Direct

Press the Wi-Fi button once.

Expected:

Light blinks → printer is in setup mode

You should see Direct-xx-HP-P1102w in your phone/laptop Wi-Fi list

If you don’t see it:

Repeat Step 4 (reset network)

Then retry Step 5

7. Final Check

After connecting:

Print a Network Configuration Page

Press Cancel for 5 seconds

It should show Connection: Connected and the assigned IP address

If the printer prints but stays Not Connected, tell me.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
