Hi @Tiff-2024,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having trouble connecting your HP DeskJet 3722 to your new Wi-Fi network. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings:
- On the printer, go to the control panel.
- Navigate to the Setup menu, and select "Network Setup" or "Wireless Settings."
- Choose "Restore Network Settings" or a similar option to reset the network settings to default.
Reconnect to the Wi-Fi Network:
- On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button (usually looks like a Wi-Fi icon) and the Cancel button together until the power light blinks.
- The printer will enter wireless setup mode. The wireless light will blink and the printer will search for available networks.
Use HP Smart App to Set Up Wireless Connection:
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- If you don’t have the app, download it from the HP Smart website or your device’s app store.
- Open the HP Smart app and select "Add Printer" or the "+" icon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your printer and connect it to the new Wi-Fi network.
Manually Connect to Wi-Fi:
- If the HP Smart app doesn’t work, you can connect the printer manually to your Wi-Fi network.
- Use the printer's control panel to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Restart All Devices:
- Restart your printer, router, and computer. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP Support website.
Check Printer’s IP Address:
- Print a network configuration page from your printer’s control panel to check if it has an IP address assigned. If not, the printer might not be connecting to the network properly.
Firewall/Security Settings:
- Check if there are any firewall or security settings on your router that might be blocking the printer’s connection.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
