Hi @optimum3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer is not connecting to your Windows 11 PC via Wi-Fi, here’s how to fix it.
Step-by-Step Fix for Wi-Fi Connection Issues
1. Restart All Devices
- Turn off your printer, PC, and router.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Turn on the router first, then the printer, then your PC.
2. Ensure Printer and PC Are on the Same Network
- On your printer, check the Wireless icon:
- If it’s solid blue, it’s connected.
- If it’s blinking or off, reconnect via the printer’s control panel:
- Go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
3. Install or reinstall the HP Smart App
- Download the latest version from the Microsoft Store:
👉 HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store - Open HP Smart and:
- Click “Add Printer”.
- Follow the prompts to connect your printer via Wi-Fi.
🔧 If the app says the printer is offline or not found, try temporarily disabling any VPN or firewall software.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
