My officejet pro has been nothing but trouble recently.  The printer for some reason was only seeing PDF files.  Can't print word files.. just doesn't seem them when i browse.   I never got close to finding a way to fix this problem, but somehow in process of trying to fix it, I lost my wireless connection to the printer.  And then, it couldn't sync with HP insta ink, so now  all my touch screen says is that i can't use my ink because I'm not registered.  Whatever button I press "cartridge cannot be used until enrolled in HP InstaInk". Had a Brother printer for literally 15 years... never a problem.  This is nuts.
