@peter339, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that the printer is not connected to the wireless network intermittently.
- Restart the router, the printer, and the PC
- Reconnect the printer to the network.
You may use the WPS button to connect the printer.
Kindly follow the steps mentioned in this document - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Connect to a 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
- This printer supports WPA/WPA2 encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK
You may also refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network) and HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Kumar0307 thanks for the answer.
The printer P1505n is a laser jet and has no wifie only hard wire network connection RJ45
I see that the printer is not connected to the wireless network intermittently.
Restart the router, the printer, and the PC
Reconnect the printer to the network.
I have done that still the same ip stuck on 0.0.0.0 and the information on the router tells me that the printer is given by dhcp the follow ip address 192.168.2.7
All the devices are on the same network when ping is running on my PC (laptop) and the printer is tuned on the replay is a follow:
C:\Users\Administrator>ping 192.168.2.7 -t

Black is the printer off and Green is when I power on the printer.
Is there a program to setup (change configuration ) via USB port?
Thanks in advance.
Peter
Smart app uses network I think.

Have you tried configuring a static IP address on the printer? The drop off you are seeing suggests a possible incompatibility between your network hardware and the printer or possible bad cabling.

How can i do that ip the IP = 0.0.0.0 ?
I ask in my last post how to setup a ip address if communication via TCP/IP is not possible.
Is there a way to do that via USB ?
“The drop off you are seeing suggests a possible incompatibility between your network hardware and the printer or possible bad cabling. “
There are two other computers on the same switch and the are working fine.(i have replaced the switch to see if that was the problem but it didn't)
If the cable is bad I expect that IP will come back sometimes but it doesn't.
Only when the printer is tuned off and on again.
